1.)What is Browser-Safe Color Palette/ Web-Safe Colors?

Its a set of 216 colors that could be shown without dithering on 256-color displays. 216 was chosen because computer operating systems customarily reserved16-20 colors for their own use  and it was also chosen because it allows exactly six shades each of red, green, and blue. (6 × 6 × 6 = 216).

 

2.)Is it still relevant in today’s context? Why?

Yes. Because not everyone have upgraded their computers and some have really ancient computers.

 

3.)What are the common fonts face found on the PC and Mac?

Arial, Lucida, Times New Romain and Georgia.

 

4.)What is page loading time and how does it influence your design?

Page loading time is the time needed to load up your web-page completely, and almost everyone hates to wait, therefore visitors to your site would have a very high probability that they will leave the site even before it finish loading, thus, reducing the amount of potential visitors to your web-page.

I have found the article to be quite useful as it was definitely a good post that gives amateurs web designers like myself a great deal of knowledge to start with, such as ‘The Seven Phases of Web Site development’ ,the ‘Web Design Workflow’, Complete Process’ ,’Breakdown of the idea web design process’  and the ‘Web Style Guide Process’ which gives a step-by-step breakdown process on how web design works. As an amateur web designer, it would definitely save me alot of time, as to whenever im not sure on what steps to take next or how to create a quality website with fast efficency almost immediately i can always refer myself to the guide available on the article. It is a must-drop-by site for all amateur web designers who are looking for a proper guide that allows them to start creating a quality website with much more speed and efficency.
