Here are some of the browsers that are used throughout the years by people in the net all over the world- Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Amaya, Opera, Links, Safari, Konqueror, Omniweb, Galeon, Phoenix, Maxthon, Epiphany, SeaMonkey, K-Meleon, iCab, Camino, Sputnik, Google Chrome, AOL Explorer, Netscape Navigator and Avant.
2.)What is browser wars
Browser wars are competitions over the web browser marketplace for web dominance. The term is used for the competition between market-dominating Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer during the 1990s and also the competition from 2003 onwards between the most dominating Internet Explorer and other web browsers, which include Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome.
3.)What is IP address?
An IP address is referred to an ‘Internet Protocol’ which is a numerical logical address that is assigned to devices existing in a computer network which utilize the IP for communication between its nodes. IP addresses are stored as binary numbers and are displayed in readable notations and the role of the IP address is to be able to allow users to indicates what we seeks in the network, where it is, and how to get there.
4.)What is a URL?
Uniform Resource Locator(URL), is a type of Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) that specifies internet address (eg. http://iamforced2blog.wordpress.com) which consist of the protocol (http), the domain name (www.iamforced2blog.com), and also the path to an exact file or location that is on the residing server.
5.)What is a good website?
A good website is basically a website that meets the needs of the target audience or visitors and also the needs of the site-maker at the same time. A website should be presented in the most professional way possible to create a good first impression.Which means that the website have to be easy to find/read,fittable in browser windows, unconfusing, conherent, and by having a good design and layout would also help tremendously. A good website should also function properly at all times, such as having fast loading time, ads-free, no broken links and images and other programming errors(especially viruses).Useful and accurate information such as product/service/contact informations should always be well organized and clear, with good grammar and spelling. A good website might also be one that is updated frequently, althought that is not always the case.
